Hello, I’m Jamal from Texas. I review novels with a primary focus on web novels.
I've been reading web novels for over 15 years now. The scene has gotten a lot more saturated since then with all types of novels showing up. So my hopes are that I can help people save time by giving them an idea of a novel before they decide to read it.
Novels are my favorite past time!
Throughout my years I’ve had lots of different hobbies and interests, but the one that never left is reading novels. I’ve always enjoyed being able to bury myself in a book at a moment’s notice. Any time spent waiting around is time better spent reading on my phone. For years now I’ve been saying I would review the things I read and always dragged my feet on it. I’m finally ready to start reviewing things so I’ve been reading with a more appraising eye latley.
I spent the latter part of my school years egregiously ignoring things happening around me in favor of reading. Hanging out with friends while being stuck on my phone the whole time trying to finish the latest arc of Coiling Dragon, Mother of Learning, or whatever else I could find. Eventually, I graduated from UT Austin in 2020 with a degree in English Language & Literature. The long years I’ve spent reading novels along with my English degree has made me firmly qualified to review any novel. My years in college made me a fan of the classics so expect to see an occasional review in that direction. Web novels will be the primary focus here though.
